Volunteer Content Creator

Salary: Volunteer

Contract: Minimum six-month commitment

Commitment: Minimum 15 hours per week

Location: Brisbane, Australia. Remote candidates are welcome to apply.

The Role

We’re looking for a motivated, enthusiastic content creator with a passion for sustainability to work with our friendly, dynamic team to inspire people around the world to make a better future.

You should have excellent communications skills, be able to work independently as well as take part in group initiatives. You should have your own computer and fast internet and be able to work from home. Your input will be acknowledged and recognized for worthwhile inclusion in your resume.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep the Social Media you are responsible for up to date 
  • Promote THRIVE’s message of sustainability and Thrivability and content to a new audience 
  • Aid with creating new content be that be written or graphical 
  • Monitor the engagement on the THRIVE’s Social Media 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mass communications or journalism
  • Fluent in English 
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment

  • A collaborative team player mindset
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
  • Well-developed problem-solving abilities 
  • Highly organized
  • The ability to handle multiple tasks to meet strict deadlines
