Job Summary

This position will work directly with Senior Director, Donor Services; Senior Advisor, Strategy & Divisional Affairs and Executive leaders for U.S. Facing divisions to provide high level program-centric view of all information systems (people, process, and technology) used to ensure that they are aligned to support Charitable Giving, Marketing and Communication, and Mission and Mobilization strategic objectives (fit for purpose). This position will also work in close collaboration with th e Director of Operations to ensure continuity of processes between system development and Donor Services Operations.

Roles and Key Responsibilities

  1. Ensure US Front-Facing Divisions leveraged technologies are positioned to deliver the expected outcomes of the business processes and functions they support.
  2. Ensure that US Front-Facing Divisions staff can fully-leverage agency systems and the information within those systems.
  3. Along with Senior Director, Senior Advisor, Strategy & Divisional Affairs and Executive leaders for U.S. Facing divisions develop a vision for automation of US Front-Facing Divisions business processes and plans for execution of that vision, including:
  • Ensure that roles and responsibilities are properly defined and practiced,
  • Ensure that process actors are properly educated to fulfill their responsibilities,
  • Ensure alignment between requests for change/enhancement and the business vision,
  • Ensure systems remain useful and users see benefits from their information outputs.

0. Sponsor the design, development, implementation, and operations of US Front-Facing Divisions integrated information systems (people, processes, and technologies) to ensure they meet their business objectives’.

  1. Serve as liaison between GKIM (Global Knowledge & Information Management) and US Front-Facing Divisions staff using information systems. Serve as liaison between information system vendors/consultants and US Front-Facing Divisions staffing using information systems.
  2. Develop, prioritize and maintain approved Roadmaps of new system features to meet business needs.
  3. Direct and monitor roll-out and operational business performance, drive risk management planning, identify and help solve constraints, collect and provide feedback to Senior Management and GKIM as appropriate for business process and systems enhancement.
  4. Work with Sr. Director, Senior Advisor, Strategy & Divisional Affairs and Executive lead ers for U.S. Facing divisions to develop process and communication model to actively engage, lead (when appropriate) and influence the governance models for the shared platforms (Salesforce, Digital and Fundraising systems):
  • Ensure that the division and the agency is getting the most out of leveraged platforms,
  • Partner with GKIM and other U.S.-facing CRS business units to develop and deliver on multi-year roadmaps and budgets,
  • Gain approval of roadmaps and associated budgets from appropriate executives and leadership groups,
  • Proactively identify, effectively communicate, and address project risks,
  • Review and continuously improve business automation performance, workplans, and objectives.

0. Provide leadership to the intake, analysis, and approval for all system functionality changes requests – both maintenance and improvement.

  1. Guide and enable staff as they develop and deploy business process change strategies by:
  • Providing guidance to the Change Management Advisor on content, timing, and audience of communications for the change,
  • Develop and deploy programs that effectively deliver organizational change through communications, job aids and training.

0. Work collaboratively with the Analytics Team to ensure smooth and seamless flow of data from source (data entry) to end-product (data analysis & data insights) to ensure systematic use of data across U.S. Front-Facing programs and encourage data informed decision making.

  1. Promote an organizational culture of continuous improvement within a framework of respect, equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Master’s degree in related field preferred; Bachelor’s required.
  2. Minimum 8-10 years of relevant work experience required with a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  3. 5-7 years of supervisory experience.
  4. Strong familiarity with CRM systems.
  5. Demonstrated experience using information technology to support business operational needs.
  6. Strong leadership, coordination and interpersonal skills.,
  7. Excellent oral and writ ten communication and analytical skills.
  8. Demonstrated experience in adult education and training.

Internal: US Facing Divisions (Charitable Giving, Mission & Mobilization, Marketing & Communications) including Executives for each division; Senior Advisor, Strategy & Divisional Affairs in Charitable Giving; Strategy & Operations Team in Mission & Mobilization, Digital Team in Marketing & Communications; Analytics Team in Charitable Giving and GKIM.

External Software vendors and Contractor staff assigned to the project.
