About the position

Based at the Alliance Headquarters in Rome, Italy, and under the supervision of the Systems Integration Manager, the Europe Analyst will be working within the IT Systems Integration Unit in the Technology Integration Department. The Europe Analyst will support the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, its satellite applications and other in-house or third-party business applications.

Key Responsibilities

The specific tasks of the position include the following:

  • Support application delivery
  • Review deployment options and select appropriate methodologies taking into account business requirements
  • Collect requirements for additions/changes to current processes and applications
  • Act creatively to develop applications and ensure solutions are in line with business requirements
  • Provide guidance, solutions, and specialist knowledge to increase efficiency
  • Prevent failures and resolve issues with minimum business impact through incident and problem management processes
  • Support other activities as required

Essential Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related fields
  • Previous relevant work experience, preferably in an international organization
  • Previous work experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems
  • Excellent command of the English language, both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with other national and cultural backgrounds
  • Well-developed skills in personal organization, priority setting and problem-solving
  • Strong client orientation and service approach
  • Ability to work with a high degree of independence within assigned areas
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work under tight deadlines

Desirable requirements

  • Knowledge of and experience with Unit4 ERP
  • IT service management and/or project management certification

Terms of employment

This is a locally recruited position. All benefits are denominated and paid in Euro. The salary is level BG06, on a scale of 14 levels, with level BG14 being the highest. The salary range starts from Euro 38,810 per annum. The remuneration package includes a competitive salary, leave provisions, medical and life insurance, and a non-contributory retirement plan. The contract will be for a period of 2 years, subject to a probationary period of 6 months, and is renewable based on performance and availability of funds.
